Run Across Ethiopia makes news in Quebec!
As you could expect, the Run Across Ethiopia has received quite a bit of press since it all got started several months ago. After all, it's not often that a group of North Americans teams up with a group of Ethiopians to run 250+ miles across Ethiopia.
In Quebec, Canada, writer Emilie Nault-Simard (who is also an employee of CC-member, Cafe Rico) reported on the run in the Quebecois magazine Ethiques et Societes (Ethics and Society). She offers a glimpse into the reality of small-scale farmers and cooperatives in Ethiopia and explains -- with the help of Chris Treter and Monika Firl -- how the RAE and Cooperative Coffees aim to address some of the key issues facing our partners.
