10-year Anniversary makes the news!
Coop Coffees made front-page news in April for the Americus Times-Recorder newspaper who reported on the 10-year celebration that took place at founding member Cafe Campesino's roastery and cafe. It truly was a wonderful, memorable event and we're happy to see it get a bit of press!

"AMERICUS — Monday marked a special day for Cooperative Coffees and Cafe Campesino. The organizations celebrated 10 years of importing fair-trade organic coffee in a big way.
Bill Harris, president of Cooperative Coffees and a partner at Cafe Campesino, said, “We invited farmers/coffee producers from eight countries, along with coffee roasters from U.S. and Canada to come to Americus to meet each other, and we scheduled informative sessions about organic coffee production at the Windsor.
“Mainly, this time is for the two groups to meet with each other, and be able to visit and talk and see the good things happening in this business.”
A unique celebration party was held on Monday to honor this group at Cafe Campesino. During this celebration, different awards were presented to growers and producers, and Harris was recognized for his efforts in being the organization.
“You know, the bean brought us together. It is more than just coffee, it is about making friends and estalishing relationships with one another,” said Harris.
