From cupping courses to conferences, there are several events on the horizon that are happening within our networks. Cooperative Coffees Roaster Exchange - March 1 & 2, 2012

The Montreal "Labo Equitable" offers an action packed two-day workshop for both beginners and seasoned veterans on the many facets of coffee quality as experienced on the cupping table and in production and sample roasts. The course is primarily focused on coffees available within the coop. Both members and non-members are encouraged to take part in order to become more acquainted with our offerings and to establish a baseline for quality, development of ones' palette, and roasting. SCAA Cupping Judge Course: April 2-6

Currently, Coop Coffees' Quality Control Lab ("Labo Equitable") located in Montreal, Quebec, offers the SCAA Cupping Judge Course two times a year. The course is instructed by Coffee Lab International owner and manger, Mane Alves who is a highly qualified master roaster and renowned quality control/cupping trainer. Next course: April 2-6, 2012 |

Fair Trade Federation Conference - May 21-23

The 2012 Fair Trade Federation annual conference will be held May 21 - 23 (Monday - Wednesday) in beautiful Bellevue, WA, just outside of Seattle. The conference will provide practical training in all aspects of fair trade, and provide a forum for sharing ideas and reaffirming fair trade principles.
