Just Coffee 2007 Travel

Hello all, Here in Madison, Just Coffee has been working with a student organization at the University of Wisconsin to develop a service-learning project that we have called the Fair Trade University Project to actively engage students in issues related to fair trade. We are launching the first hands-on experience of the project this May, hoping to bring a group of students to Guatemala to learn about fair trade. We will be visiting Santa Anita, another coffee coop in the community of Montellano (2 hrs from Chimaltenango), as well as meeting with Cafe Conciencia and Manos Campesinos. Please distribute this announcement to anyone that you think might be interested. We are giving preference to college students, but will consider other participants if there is space.
