Coutts Coffee
Since March of 2000, Coutts & Company (also known as Coutts Coffee) has been roasting Fair Trade and Organic coffees on a daily basis in the beautiful town of Perth, Ontario (100 km west of Ottawa). Roasting is done in small batches, using a purely traditional method, to achieve the ultimate development of each coffee’s unique characteristics. Our goal is to provide our customers with the freshest and highest quality coffee, while supporting a healthy and sustainable system built on a fair and transparent relationships with our staff, coffee cooperatives, as well as our customers. We believe in helping farmers to improve their growing practices and their living standards while protecting the environment. We are actively involved in and around our community, striving to make it a better place to live and enjoy. As active volunteers, since 2001, we have helped to raise funds for and travelled to Guatemala in order to build cook-stoves for impoverished families (www.guatemalastoveproject.org).
